Issue Three - Lisa Stevenson (Qld Rail)

Lisa Stevenson loves driving trains. She has been a Travel Train Driver for three years and has a background in City Train for Queensland Rail. In 2016 Lisa was awarded a certificate in Melbourne, for her Safety and Spad Prevention advertisement designed to alert drivers to the critical steps in Safety.

Driving trains from Brisbane to Mackay has always been on the cards for Lisa, since her first travel train trip in the 1980’s on the Sunlander Train from Brisbane to Cairns. Today, Lisa drives The Tilt Train, The Spirit of Queensland and The Spirit of the Outback.

Lisa is now one of a few select female train drivers for Queensland Rail and we are so excited to share her story with you!
